Another month by, and another reminder that summer is quickly approaching. This year will be my daughter’s first year she is able to swim (last year she was only a few months old), and I’m so excited to share that with her this year. Recently, we got a chance to try out Splash About’s Splash Jammers Toddler Swim Diaper & Shorts, a combination swim diaper and short perfect for the potty learning toddler and loved them so much, so when the opportunity came up to also try the Happy Nappy baby swim diaper, we were excited!

Happy Nappy Swim Diaper Review
Splash About is a UK based company that creates children’s swim wear and accessories. They make a wide variety of products ranging from swim diapers, shorts, rash guards, swimsuits and everything in between. Earlier this year, we tried out one of their newest products, Splash Jammers, a swim diaper/short combo for toddlers perfect for potty learning. We loved them so much, and were excited to try out their baby swim diaper as well.
They come in a wide variety of colors and patterns; we recieved pink flowers. They can be a little difficult to get on as they are a snug fit, but once on they fit great. My 11 month old didn’t seem to have any difficulties moving around or keeping up with her brother. The back rise on these seem to be a little higher than other swim diapers on the market which I appreciate. We’ve never had a poopslosion in the water (and I don’t intend to start), but the high back ensures this will not be the case.
Again, as with other swim diapers it’s important to note that they are not intended to hold in liquid (IE pee), but rather only meant to hold in poop. So, if you’re traveling to a public pool or event you might want to wait until you’re at your destination to change them into their swim diaper.
Overall, it works great and is very cute! A snug fit, with a stretchy comfortable fabric ensures baby is free to play, accident free. Plus, the cut and style of the diaper makes it look like normal swim trunks and not necessarily a diaper so there’s no need to double up on bottoms.
