This is an update on my progress on my Free Christmas 2016 Challenge, where I attempt to earn enough money online to pay for my family’s entire Christmas budget. You can read more about it here.

The free Christmas challenge. How I'm funding my entire Christmas budget (over $700) online with survey sites.

May was a surprisingly good month for me. I received a check from SurveySavvy for $158 and used that to buy am Amazon giftcard which gave me an extra $5. I also purchased one of my first Christmas gifts for $12 for one of my cousins using a discount for Swagshout. So, I’m getting there. Slowly but surely.

YouGov: 19000 Points (+ 1,000)
SurveySavvy: $6 (+ $6)
I-Say: 981 points (+ 95)
Opinion Outpost: 55 points (+ 0)
MyPoints: 2956 points (+ 250)
MySurvey: 557 points (+ 0)
American Consumer Opinion Panel: 2410 points (+ 35)
Swagbucks: 1388 (+250)
Mintvine: 927 (+ 94)

I had also been a member of the NCP panel as well, in which you scan your purchases and take surveys. I had been finding this more and more difficult trying to scan dozens of groceries with a baby at the same time, and this month I officially gave up. I cashed out for $50 to Amazon, and a $10 movie gift card, which may or may not end up as a Christmas party gift.

Does this month’s earnings make you want to join my free Christmas challenge? Or maybe you only need to earn half of your budget to be comfortable? Let me know your goals and progress below!
