This is an update on my progress on my Free Christmas 2016 Challenge, where I attempt to earn enough money online to pay for my family’s entire Christmas budget. You can read more about it here.
This month wasn’t super in terms of earnings, as I really focused on blogging. I sponsored a few giveaways, and took a few ecourses which really ate up my time, and it shows in the amount I earned. I did participant in some market research (unrelated to the following survey sites) and earned a $25 giftcard to Amazon that I’m placing towards Christmas money, and I started shopping for gifts for family members using deal sites and the money earned. So we’ll see. I’m officially halfway through the challenge.
YouGov: 19500 Points (+ 500)
SurveySavvy: $6 (+ 0)
I-Say: 986 points (+ 5)
Opinion Outpost: 55 points (+ 0)
MyPoints: 3201 points (+ 245)
MySurvey: 557 points (+ 0)
American Consumer Opinion Panel: 2435 points (+ 15)
Swagbucks: 1588 (+ 200)
Mintvine: 10 (+ 88) Cashed out $10 from here
So, for June (not including the gift card from the panel) I earned about $20. Not really where I need to be, but in combination with deals I think I’ll still accomplish most of my goal.
Does this month’s earnings make you want to join my free Christmas challenge? Or maybe you only need to earn half of your budget to be comfortable? Let me know your goals and progress below!
This is so smart!! I’m totally going to look into trying this!
Thanks! I’ve earned about half of my family’s holiday budget so far which is still a HUGE chunk of money for us. Good luck! 🙂
